Ryan Baysa Jazz Portraits & Interview

Ryan Baysa is an artist whose work I became aware of through some mutual friends and from seeing flyers of his exhibits at venues I hit up occasionally. When I saw his works I was instantly drawn to them not only because of the subjects, but the colors, textures and styles of the pieces all collude into a visual depiction of the imagery the music creates for me when I think of those artists. Said more easily, I can hear their music playing internally while looking at these works.
